The 2017-18 football season is nearing the end. This summer we will also witness the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. This means new players will emerge during the tournament and the transfer season will pick-up soon afterwards. But, regardless of these events, many transfer rumours have already begun to do the rounds and new developments have emerged in Europe and the UK. Here are some of the note-worthy transfer news and rumours:

 Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid?    


According to Spanish daily Don Balon, Real Madrid is interested in acquiring the services of teenage sensation, Kylian Mbappe. It also reports that Madrid have prepared a 200 million Euro bid for the French International.                                                                                          


Gareth Bale hints at possible Bayern Munich move

The Welsh International created headlines when he joined Real Madrid at a very high transfer fee. But injuries have so far marred what should have been a spectacular journey with the club. He has been linked with a possible move to the Bavarian club in the summer.


Marcos Alonso to Barcelona?


The Spaniard is rumoured to be seen as a long-term replacement for Gerard Pique. Alonso has had a great season with Chelsea so far. He currently plays on the left-flank for the club but is equally experienced in handling the responsibilities of a centre-back.




Arsenal to land Luis Enrique?

According to the Mirror, Arsenal are trying to bring in former Barcelona manager, Luis Enrique as Arsene Wenger's replacement. But the Spaniard has reportedly demanded 15 million Pounds per year for agreeing to take up the job.

The New Regulations suggested by FIFA's Technical Study Group

FIFA has nine standing committees and it's Development Committee is in charge of the Technical Study Group. This group is responsible for conducting the analysis of all FIFA tournaments from the World Cup to Futsol. It is also responsible for looking into new structural changes for the game and suggesting new rules and regulations. The most controversial among these suggestions had been suggested in the previous year by the Technical Study Group headed by Dutch legend, Marco Van Basten.
